The steps you need to take in order to post a link from another web site are pretty simple, and outlined below. (I apologize for the slightly fuzzy nature of the pictures here.)
1. On the web site you wish to post the link from, move your mouse cursor into the address box at the top of the page, and right-click with your mouse. This will do two things - highlight the web site's address inside the address bar, and display a small pop-up window (see picture below)...
2. Next, all you need to do is move your mouse over the word, "Copy" inside the small pop-up window. You'll see the word highlighted, probably in blue, as seen in the picture below...
Once you see this, left-click on the word, "Copy."
3. Come back to the board, and either start a new topic or reply to a post, as you would normally do. Once you see the white dialogue box, move your mouse cursor inside the box, and right-click. This will display another small pop-up box, as seen below...
4. Left-click on the word, "Paste," inside the small pop-up box. This will insert the link you have just copied from the other web site. You'll see it displayed on the screen.
5. Next, scroll down and click on the "Preview" button...
This will show you a preview of what your post will look like. It will also show you the link you just posted as it will appear on the board. If you move your mouse over the link, you'll see a line appear underneath it. This means the link is active. Which is good.  The bad picture below shows what it will look like...
If you click on the link, it will open a new window and should display the page you just linked to. This isn't necessary, but you might want to make sure the link works correctly. Once you're ready, just click on the "Send" button, located next to the "Preview" button at the bottom of the screen.
That's it! You just posted a link to the board.
